The Dietary Department at Cherokee Regional Medical Center seeks to provide high quality meals customized to each patient and to serve the community. In addition, our Registered Dietitian on staff provides individual, group and community nutrition therapy and education as well as inpatient and outpatient nutrition care.

INPATIENT/VISITOR ROOM SERVICE: Cherokee Regional Medical Center is pleased to offer Room Service for delivery of your personally selected meals. Our chefs will be available to prepare a variety of food selections for you to choose from. To order your meal, just pick up your telephone and dial Extension 146.
CAFETERIA: The cafeteria at Cherokee Regional Medical Center is located on the 1st floor. For visitors, the cafeteria is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Continental breakfast is available in the cafeteria from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Lunch and supper service is available in the cafeteria from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
IN-HOUSE CATERING: In-house catering is available for meetings conducted at Cherokee Regional Medical Center. If holding a meeting at Cherokee Regional Medical Center and you are interested in the Dietary Department catering the event, please call 712.225.3368 ext. 142 for more information on food selection and in-house catering options.
HEAT AND EAT MEALS: The Heat & Eat Program serves nutritious meals that may be refrigerated or frozen and heated in your home at your convenience. A variety of general or low-sodium meals are available. All meals can be used on low-fat or diabetic diets as well. Meals are $6.00 each, and are payable at the time of pick-up.
MOBILE MEALS: Cherokee Regional Medical Center Mobile Meals program is designed to help residents receive a healthy, nutritious meal each weekday, while staying at home. Community volunteers deliver the meals right to your door for $5.00 a meal.
Volunteers are always needed to deliver these meals to the elderly and shut-in. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please contact Kayla at 712-225-3368 ext. 187. Individuals who make deliveries, get a free meal in the Cherokee Regional Medical Center cafeteria in appreciation of their help.
BECK FOOD SERVICE: The CRMC Dietary Department provides a continental breakfast and noon meal daily for the tenants. Residents may choose from a couple of noon meal options during each weekday.
VENDING MACHINES: Pop machines are located on 1st floor by the cafeteria as well as on 3rd floor by the elevator. A snack machine is located on the 1st floor by the cafeteria. Change is available at the Business Office on 1st floor during regular business hours.
