Stephen P. Fox, M.D. earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Following an internship at St. Vincent Hospital Health Care Associates in Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. Fox completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is a board-certified surgeon and has professional affiliations with the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Helping others has always been a passion of Dr. Fox’s. With twenty million people blinded across the world due to cataracts, he knew ophthalmology was the field for him. As such, he participates in global mission trips in countries such as Guatemala and Ecuador, performing cataract surgery and training other ophthalmologists in manual small incision cataract surgery. Dr. Fox has been seeing patients at Wolfe Eye Clinic since 2008. He enjoys meeting new people, working with his talented staff, and helping his patients see better.

Outside of work, Dr. Fox spends time with his wife, Pam, and their three dogs. He cherishes time with their three grown children and especially his grandchildren. You will often find Dr. Fox playing the guitar or drums and he is an active member of his church. (https://www.wolfeeyeclinic.com/)
